Administrative Duties 

Manage attendance, absenteeism, staffing schedules, etc.
Manage all employee files including storage of files for terminated associates
Manage all office correspondence in regards to disciplinary issues, absenteeism, leave of absences, layoffs, employment or benefit confirmations and provide adhoc translations as required
G-track database entries (collecting data on tires)
Invoicing
Accounts payable
Managing the office phone lines
Contact associates with regards to overtime needs
Create Reports: Production and waste reports, PHH (Element – Driver’s fuel expenses) and manage monthly sales’ statistics
Creation of new spreadsheets for production, loss, absences, CSST, sick days
Preparation of new production binder, vendor files for the New Year and filing of the previous year
Vacation calendar for the New Year
Maintain and update checklists and ensure compliance
Assist with checking in staff to events, checking out staff from events, making calls to staff that have not shown up for their shift, and arranging for alternative staffing on a last-minute basis
Complete annual “francization report” – ensure all IT Equipment, instructions, associate communication, bulletin board postings, etc. are available in French to all associates working at the plant
Process wage verifications
Maintain Employee portion of Communication Board
Maintain up-to-date contact list
Process terminations
Update and process changes to employee job title, wages, and/or personal information such as address and name changes

Qualifications:
Five (5) years Human Resources’ experience, preferably in a unionized environment
Broad knowledge of Human Resources Management, including employment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, recruitment, training, and employee development
Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight timelines, and multiple priorities in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment
Tact and diplomacy combined with excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen
Office experience including strong administrative skills with experience maintaining employee files

Strong work ethic
Attention to detail
You must be extremely well organized and methodical in your approach to problem solving and be able to manage filing / database system
Proven administrative skills in a Human Resources Information Systems environment
Ability to analyze, interpret and explain employment law, previous experience working with unionized employees an asset
Advanced Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint and Excel combined with strong project management skills
Ability to gather pertinent information in order to arrive at an appropriate solution as information will contribute to business and operational decisions
Ability to interpret and advise on employment law
Ability to work with applicant tracking system
Must maintain a positive attitude and be open to feedback in a supportive environment
Ability to work independently with a high level of self-motivation
Trustworthy as the position has access to confidential information
Ability to document and map standard job procedures
Fluently Bilingual French and English including advanced oral and written communication skills are required to interact effectively with all levels of industry professionals and management on a one-on-one or group basis
Strong interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels
Strong team work/team player skills are required to work with and provide input on collaborative projects

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Finance, Have Experience 2-3 years ,Economics or any other related field is required coupled with an undergraduate degree in Human Resources
